So, I was looking at stuff on Craigslist. Came across this supposed Impala SS for just $2200. It’s not in the best shape, but that seemed too good to be true.

Anyway, here’s the listing. It will be gone soon, because I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s reported it. You’ll see why.

I don’t enjoy seeing/hearing/etc such language from anyone, but there may be a possibility that they’re referring to themselves...?

Edit: upon closer inspection, the photo appears to be in a car lot. (I didn’t click the link).

Edit 2: I guess the imperative phrasing “was” could be an indicator that they may or may not be the [original] owner.

How can you tell without the VIN or title? Genuinely curious. I thought they were identical.

They’re pretty close for sure. The Impala SS had bodycolor door handles, Caprice had chrome (like this one). Impala SS also had the Impala logo behind the side quarter window, this one does not. Of course, the owner could’ve shaved the badges and installed the chrome door handles, too.
